PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATERI SHALAT DAN DZIKIR MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI DI SMPN 2 ARJASA

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education subjects, especially prayer and dhikr material, one of the causes is that learning is still centered on the teacher, so that student involvement in the learning process is still very minimal. As a result, student learning outcomes are low. So the author in this study tried to apply the inquiry learning model in an effort to improve student learning outcomes. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a quantitative approach. This Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles until the learning outcomes were complete. This classroom action research aims to describe the process of improving student learning outcomes using the inquiry learning model. From this study, the researcher focused on improving learning outcomes for prayer and dhikr material through the inquiry learning model for class 7 students of SMPN 2 Arjasa in the 2024-2025 academic year. In cycle I, the percentage of student learning outcomes reached 62%. While in cycle II it increased to 87.5%. The researcher concluded that there had been an increase in student learning outcomes using the inquiry learning model, which was evidenced by an increase in learning outcomes of 25.5%.
